July, 2019. As of last Thursday, Avis Rent a Car has a new office near the Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO).

Juan Santamaria Airport (SJO) is a modern airport, which is located within a short distance of the capital city, San José. It has limited external space for parking and as a result, all car rental agencies have their office locations offsite, even if there are service desks within the airport building.
